學院簡介
一、曆史沿革
太阳集团1088vip于1998年5月8日成立，是在原中山醫科大學護理系和中山醫科大學附設衛生學校的基礎上組建的。中山醫科大學護理系始建于1985年，是國内第一批、華南地區最早開展高等護理教育的學校。中山醫科大學附設衛生學校于1953年成立，其前身是始創于1913年的廣州博濟醫院高級護士職業學校和始創于1925年的太阳集团app首页醫學院附屬醫院（現為太阳集团app首页附屬第一醫院）護士助産學校。太阳集团app首页護理教育曆經百餘年的辦學曆程，培養了大批優秀護理專業人才。
二、師資隊伍
學院教師隊伍由學院專任教師,以及10家附屬醫院的臨床兼職教師組成，共有護理學專業教師92人，其中專任教師19人。專任教師隊伍100%獲得博士學位，2名教師為愛思唯爾中國區護理學高被引學者，3名教師當選美國護理科學院院士。教師隊伍中有研究生導師61人，其中博導9人。
三、教學條件
學院設有護理學基礎教研室、内科護理學教研室、外科護理學教研室、婦産科護理學教研室、兒科護理學教研室。學院擁有先進的課堂教學和實驗教學設備，護理技能教學中心配備了國内外先進的護理教學模型，已建設成為具有整體化、多功能、開放式以及先進性、網絡化、數字化特點的現代化實驗室，為專業技能教學提供了優良的條件。各附屬醫院及4家社區衛生服務中心，為我院臨床教學提供了強有力的條件和質量保障。在公共課、基礎課教學方面，學院依托太阳集团app首页中山醫學院、公共衛生學院、藥學院等雄厚師資力量進行教學，共享學校優質的教學資源。
四、學科建設
太阳集团1088vip1985年開設護理學本科教育，2000年開始招收護理學碩士研究生，2004年開始招收護理學博士研究生。護理學專業2005年成為廣東省高等學校名牌專業、2010年成為教育部第六批高等學校本科特色專業建設點、2011年成為護理學一級學科博士學位授權點、同年開設護理碩士專業學位教育 、2012年成為廣東省重點學科、2019年獲批國家級一流本科專業建設點,2020年通過教育部護理學類本科專業認證，獲得有效期8年的最佳成績。2020年，護理學科在“軟科世界一流學科排名”中率先進入全球前75名，位列中國内地第1名；2021年首次進入QS世界大學學科排名護理學科榜單，位居全球第101-150名。在2021和2022年的QS世界大學護理學科榜單排名中，均位列中國内地第3名。
五、人才培養
學院在長期的辦學實踐中，取中西方教育之長，遵循現代高等教育規律，不斷诠釋、豐富和發展厚基礎、強臨床的護理本科人才培養教育理念。堅持不懈地進行教育教學改革，逐步形成了自身的辦學理念與特色。學院注重學生專業技能和創新能力的培養。由2017級3名碩士生組成的團隊榮獲第五屆中國研究生智慧城市技術與創意設計大賽三等獎（中大唯一一支創意賽隊伍進入決賽并獲獎）。2015年11月，學院4名本科生參加全國高等醫學教育學會護理教育分會主辦的“首屆全國護理學本科臨床技能大賽”獲得二等獎。2019年4月，學院3名本科生參加教育部高等學校護理學類專業教學指導委員會主辦的“全國護理本科生臨床綜合技能邀請賽”榮獲一等獎（最高獎）。2021年4月，學院4名本科生參加教育部“第十屆中國大學生醫學技術技能大賽護理學專業賽道華中華南區賽”榮獲二等獎。太阳集团1088vip研究生生源充足，考錄比一直在全校排列前茅，錄取優質生源比例高。
學院畢業生一直以來受到社會用人單位的廣泛好評，畢業生活躍在全國各大醫療機構以及護理院校，從事臨床護理、護理教育工作，成為用人單位的骨幹力量，産生了很好的品牌效應。校友鐘華荪、成守珍分别榮獲第39屆、第48屆南丁格爾獎章。
六、科學研究
學院教師根據護理學科的專業特色，拓寬思路，積極申報各項基金項目和科研成果，獲批項目數和經費數逐年增長。近5年教師獲得各級科研項目64項，獲經費總額820多萬元，其中國家級項目21項，包括國家自然科學基金項目 14 項、國家社會科學基金 1 項、教育部人文社會科學研究規劃基金 6 項。獲得省級、校級教學研究項目22項。近5年教師以第一作者或通訊作者發表高水平英文論文190篇，高水平中文論文228篇；編寫教材及著作37本，其中主編7本，副主編11本。獲得獲中華護理學會科技獎2 項、中國康複醫學會科學技術獎 1 項、廣東省護理學會科技獎 2 項、廣東省康複醫學會科學技術獎 1 項； 1篇論文入選2020年中華護理百篇優秀論文、2篇論文入選2021 年中華護理學會優秀科技論文、2篇論文入選學術精要高PCSI論文、高被引論文、高下載論文等。省級教學成果二等獎1項、校級教學成果一等獎3項。
2016年3月，學院與美國約翰霍普金斯大學太阳集团1088vip、香港理工大學太阳集团1088vip以及澳洲悉尼科技大學衛生學院，成立了“慢性照護全球聯盟研究中心”。2021年牽頭成立“粵港澳高校護理聯盟”，将聯合培養青年科研人才，開展跨學科的科研合作,為護理專業的人才培養提供高端學術平台。
七、服務社會
為滿足廣東省廣大在職護士提高學曆層次的需求，學院從 1983 年開始，逐步開辦了夜大學、自學考試、遠程教育、研究生課程班、非全日制專業學位碩士等多種形式的學曆教育，培養畢業生近3萬名。2001 年成立的太阳集团app首页造口治療師學校，是我國第一所規範化培養專科護士的造口治療師的學校，結業證書獲得世界造口治療師協會的認可，已舉辦23期培訓班，為全國各級醫院培養造口治療師 546人。2015年開辦了國内首個系統性、規範化的腫瘤個案管理師師資培訓班，培養了一批腫瘤個案管理師資人才。2017 年開辦國内首個泌尿外科專科護士培訓項目、吞咽專科護士培訓項目，為國家專科護士培訓工作做出了貢獻。
太阳集团1088vip是廣州市科普遊自由行的開放單位之一，從2014年開始，每年獲得立項的“廣州科普遊自由行—社會公衆急救知識與技術培訓”項目在廣州市“全國科普日”活動中成為最受歡迎的參展項目之一，很好地踐行了學院立足護理專業特色，發展科研，利用科研成果服務社會的發展理念。
八、對外交流
學院先後與美國、澳大利亞、瑞典、泰國、新加坡、尼泊爾、香港、澳門等國家和地區的護理院校建立了友好合作關系。學院每年選派優秀本科生赴美國、瑞典、澳大利亞及香港進行短期交換學習，選派優秀碩士研究生赴瑞典、尼泊爾和香港等進行短期學習交流，選派博士生赴美國俄勒岡衛生與科學大學訪問學習半年；這些國家和地區的護理院校也選派學生來學院進行交流學習。在長期和廣泛的國際合作與交流中，學院逐步與國際一流大學護理教育接軌。

School of Nursing
Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU)
1. History
The School of Nursing is nationally recognized as one of the prestigious nursing schools in the country, with a tri-fold mission of excellence in nursing education, research and practice. Hospital-based nursing education initiated in 1913 at SYSU when the Nursing School of Bo-ji Hospital was founded. In 1925, the Nursing School of the Affiliated Hospital of School of Medicine at SYSU was founded. In 1953, the two nursing schools merged and was named the Affiliated Nursing School of the Medical College, and later was renamed the Affiliated Health School of Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences (SUMS) in 1985. With the economic reform and opening-up in China in early 1980s, the Department of Nursing Science of SUMS was founded and tertiary nursing education began at the University in 1985. It was one of the earliest baccalaureate nursing programs in the country. On May 8th 1998, the Department of Nursing Science of SUMS and the Affiliated Health School of (SUMS) merged and was named the School of Nursing of Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences (SUMS). In October 2001, the School of Nursing of SUMS was renamed School of Nursing of SYSU when the SYSU and SUMS merged. With more than 100 years of history in nursing education, the School has cultivated a large number of outstanding nursing professionals.
2. Faculty
The School faculty is composed of full-time teachers and part-time clinical teachers from 10 affiliated hospitals of SYSU. Currently, there are 92 nursing teachers in total, including 19 full-time teachers, 100% of whom have obtained doctoral degrees. Two full-time teachers have been awarded the Highly Cited Chinese Researchers in the field of Nursing by Elsevier, and three teachers are the Fellow of American Academy of Nursing. Eight teachers are members of the "100 Top Talents Program" of Sun Yat-sen University. There are 61 graduate supervisors in the School, including 9 doctoral supervisors.
3. Teaching
Five teaching sections are structured in the School, namely Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical Nursing, Surgical Nursing, Gynecological and Obstetric Nursing, and Pediatric Nursing. The School has well equipped and furnished classrooms and laboratories. Its Nursing Skill Teaching Centre is equipped with up-to-date nursing equipment to promote students readiness and their clinical skills competence. Ten affiliated hospitals of SYSU and four community health care service centres provide nursing students with enough clinical resources and quality guarantee for clinical teaching. For public and basic courses teaching, the School relies on the teachers from Zhongshan School of Medicine, School of Public Health, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and other schools of SYSU to conduct teaching and share the University high-quality teaching resources.
4. Discipline
The School began its undergraduate nursing education in 1985, enrolled postgraduate students in 2000 and PhD students in 2004. Its nursing was awarded brand major among Guangdong Province Higher Education Institutions in 2005, and was awarded the sixth batch of characteristic undergraduate program construction site by the Ministry of Education in 2010. The School began its nursing specialized master degree program in 2011, and its nursing was approved as the first-level discipline of doctoral degree at the same year. In 2012, its nursing was awarded the key discipline in Guangdong Province, and was approved as the national first-class undergraduate program construction point by the Ministry of Education in 2019. In 2020, its undergraduate program was accredited with the best performance of 8 years validity. At the same year, in Shanghai Ranking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, its nursing was firstly among the top 75 places in the world and the first place in Chinese Mainland universities. In 2021, it nursing was firstly among top 101-150 places in the QS World University Ranking by Nursing Subject. In 2021 and 2022, its nursing was both in the third place in Chinese mainland universities in the QS World University Ranking by Nursing Subject.
5. Education
In the process of long-term teaching practice, the School has taken the advantages of Chinese and Western education, followed the rules of modern higher education, and constantly interpreted, enriched and developed its education concept for nursing undergraduates with thick foundation knowledge and strong clinical training. Based on the constant education teaching reform, the School has gradually formed its own running idea and characteristic. The School pays great importance to the cultivation of students' professional skills and innovative ability. A team composed of three postgraduates enrolled in 2017 won the third prize in the 5th China Postgraduate Smart City Technology and Creative Design Competition. In November 2015, four undergraduates won the second prize in the First National Nursing Undergraduate Clinical Skills Competition held by the Nursing Education Branch of National Association for Higher Medical Education. In April 2019, three undergraduates won the first prize in the National Nursing Undergraduate Clinical Comprehensive Skills Invitational Competition held by the Teaching Steering Committee for Nursing Specialty of Higher Education, Ministry of Education. In April 2021, four undergraduates won the second prize in "Nursing Professional Track of the 10th Chinese College Students Medical Technology and Skill Competition in South China" held by the Ministry of Education.
The graduates of the School have been widely praised by their employers. They work in major hospitals and nursing schools in the country, engaged in clinical nursing and nursing education, have become the backbone of employers, and have won a very good brand effect. Alumni Zhong Huasun and Cheng Shouzhen were respectively awarded the 39th and 48th Nightingale Medal.
6. Research
The School faculty has actively applied for various fund projects and scientific research achievements and has achieved with the number of approved projects and funds increasing year by year. In the last five years, the faculty members have obtained totally 64 research projects, including 14 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 National Social Science Foundation project, 6 Humanities and Social Science Fund projects from the Ministry of Education, and 22 provincial-level and university-level teaching research projects, with a total scientific research fund of more than 8.2 million Chinese Yuan. In the last 5 years, as the first author or corresponding author, the faculty members have published 190 high-level English papers and 228 high-level Chinese papers, and have compiled 37 textbooks and works, among which 7 are chief editors and 11 are deputy chief editors. The School faculty has won two third prizes for Science and Technology Award of China Nursing Association, two first prizes for Science and Technology Award of Guangdong Nursing Society, one second prize for Science and Technology Award from Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine and one second prize for Science and Technology Award from Guangdong Rehabilitation Medical Association, three first prizes and one second prize for teaching achievement award of the university level and one second prize for teaching achievement award of the provincial level.
7. Outreach
To meet the needs of nurses working in Guangdong Province to improve their education level, the School has gradually opened various forms of education programs since 1983, such as night university, self-study examination, distance education, postgraduate certificates, part-time professional master's degree, with nearly 30,000 graduates. Enterostomal Therapists School of Sun Yat-sen University, established in 2001, is the first school in China to train ostomy therapists in a standardized way for specialized nurses. Its graduation certificate has been recognized by the World Council of Enterostomal Therapists. It has held 23 training sessions and trained 546 ostomy therapists for hospitals at all levels in the country. In 2015, the nursing School launched the first systematic and standardized training program in China for tumor case management nurses, and trained a number of specialized nurses for tumor case management. In 2017, the School launched the first training program for urology nurses and the training program for swallowing nurses, making contributions to the training of national specialized nurses.
The School is one of the Guangzhou science popularization open units. Since 2014, its project of "Guangzhou Science Popularization -- First-aid Knowledge and Technical Training for the Public" has been granted each year, and has become one of the most popular exhibition projects in Guangzhou. It is a good practice of the School’s education concept, based on the characteristics of nursing specialty to develop scientific research and using scientific research achievements to serve the society.
8. Internationalization
The School has been very active in academic exchanges and cooperation with prestigious universities in China (including Hong Kong and Macao) and those from the USA, Australia, Sweden, Singapore, Thailand, Nepal, and Finland, etc. The School has established collaborative partnerships with those university nursing schools. In the long-term and extensive international cooperation and exchanges, the School has tried to improve itself to catch up with international first-class universities in nursing education.
In March 2016, the School collaborating with School of Nursing Johns Hopkins University, School of Nursing Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Faculty of Heath University of Technology Sydney, established Global Consortium for Chronic Care Research Center. The four nursing schools jointly cultivate young scientific research talents, carry out interdisciplinary research cooperation, and provide a high-level academic platform for nursing talents.
Based on Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao the Greater Bay Area, taking a broad view throughout the country and the world, the School has tried to improve its quality of talent cultivation and steadily enhance the level of scientific research and social influence. The School strives to build its nursing science into a top-level and more influential discipline both at home and abroad.
